The Fractal series by Mishim Pottery Creation is characterised by its rough texture and cracks, typical of Japanese glazing technique Kairagi. The glaze is applied as thinly as possible, and each mug is one of a kind and will change with usage over time. It has a thicker handle with a slight dent in the middle, which makes it easier to hold. In the case of Susu, an iron rich liquid is applied after glazing, giving its distinct matte black colour look.
