The Fractal series by Mishim Pottery Creation is characterised by its rough texture and cracks, typical of Japanese glazing technique Kairagi. The glaze is applied as thinly as possible, and each plate is one of a kind and will change with usage over time. In the case of Susu, an iron rich liquid is applied after unglazing, giving its distinct matte black colour look. The cake stand comes in two separate pieces, which makes it versatile for storage and can also be used as a serving plate. It is perfect to be used in conjunction with the fractal cake plates.
