For AW22, SHINYAKOZUKA draws on inspiration from a favourite poem ‘SHISHU TO SHISHU’ by Noriko Ibaragi, as well as the work of British cartoonist Heath Robinson, known for ironic humour. This White Elephant Horse varsity jacket takes its name from Kozuka’s decision to incorporate ‘useless design’ into the collection. The jacket itself is the opposite; it is well-constructed, functional and versatile with an interesting narrative.
